Growing up in the diaspora, I was always searching for ways to feel closer to my homeland, Armenia.
Every day, that feeling only grew stronger. Living so far away, I was always searching for something that made me feel more connected to Armenia.
There were always books about Armenia in our home. They were filled with incredible history, but they often felt more like books you learned from than books you could simply pick up and enjoy.
I longed for something different.
I imagined a book that could sit on my coffee table. A book I could open to any page and, even for a moment, forget how far away Armenia was. One filled with light, color, beauty, and life. A book that felt like walking through the streets of Yerevan, standing before ancient monasteries, watching the sun set behind Mount Ararat, and experiencing the warmth of a country that has always held such a special place in my heart.
Something that didn't just tell Armenia's story.
Something that made you feel it.
I searched for that book.
It didn't exist.
So I decided to create it.
